Every session starts from the same foundation: guided direction, careful selection and a clear delivery. What changes is the time, the looks, the included images and how many receive high-end retouching.

For sessions with more time, location work, rented studio, full-body images, multiple settings or a more campaign-driven intention.
Process

During or after the session, a first selection of candidate images is marked.

That selection receives base correction in Capture One: exposure, white balance, contrast, base color and a minimal technical review.

The proof gallery is sent through a private link, in limited size and with a watermark, only for selection.

The client chooses the images included in their format and may request additional images.

Standard final images keep the base treatment seen in the proof and are delivered in high resolution, without watermark.

High-end images receive an additional advanced editorial retouching process.
High-end retouching may include advanced work on skin, eyes, clothing, background cleanup, background extension, color harmony, color grading, fine presence adjustments and tools such as Capture One, Evoto, Photoshop and AI when appropriate.
The edit is meant to elevate the image without erasing the person's identity.
If the client wants more images than the format includes, additional images can be added. Extra high-end retouching can also be requested for specific images.
The main formats are designed for individual sessions. Portraits for teams, partners, couples or small groups are quoted on request, because timing per person, direction, image count and usage licenses change.
Makeup, hair, styling, assistance, location or rented studio can be considered as add-ons when the brief justifies it. If Fernando Xavier adds stable collaborators in the future, that information will be integrated into About us.
